He went to McCarter Elementary School, Landon Middle School, Topeka West High School, and Washburn University for his undergraduate education. He has strong ties to Topeka and knew that his local community, which helped him achieve his goals of becoming a dentist, was where he wanted to give back and serve with his skills.
